Atrium Solar Study
The more efficient a force is, the more silent and the more subtle it is. ~Mahatma Gandhi

The subtleties in life are what strike us most profoundly. Blatantly striking and compelling things may produce an instant reward for our mental capacities, but ultimately these belong to novelty. The novelty of a thing depreciates rapidly, even as soon as its second viewing. I believe it was this distinction between novelty and subtlety that lead Mies Van Der Rohe to declare, as he famously did, "I don't want to be interesting, I want to be good."

I aim at producing the sublime through detail and subtle plays that call to our archaic nature, that is innate within us all. It is my belief that this will produce a timeless architecture that will profoundly influence its inhabitants.
